Metaphor found Poem Exercise from Megan Wittkopf

Your Touch Is Like

Like sand,
stuck in my hair.
Like the motor of a Harley,
revving,
against my skin.
Like living in a hurricane,
where you get swept up,
in excitement, and
forget,
how to live.
Like wind,
through the green,
leaves of a Cottonwood tree.
Like running,
through a sprinkler on a
hot, summer's day,
invigorating.
